Cornhole Outdoor Family Games
F.A.Q.
Outdoor Family Fun Games

A. There are  a number of methods to bring these bags back to "play mode." If they are modestly
wet it is best to hang in a dry area and let them dry naturally. Depending on heat and humidity a
day or two should be reasonable.

On the other hand if the bags are soaked to the core they can be placed in a dryer.
NOTE: we
do not advise placing cornhole bags in a microwave under any circumstances.

MACHINE DRY Allow the bags to drain drip free. Place up to (8) bags in the dryer, adjust dryer
to its lowest setting, allow for the dryer to slowly remove the excess moisture. Check them
periodically and do not let them over dry for it could shrink the bags.

NATURAL DRY (BEST METHOD). Find a safe place to hang the cornhole bags. It should be in
an area inside or outside with plenty of ventilation, low humidity,  a drip containment system ( a
bucket will do ), and safe from hungry critters. Check them periodically.

WET, MOLDY CORN or BAGS. If the bags are moldy black and thick they should be disposed of
properly. Buy new bags. If the mold is slight the bags can be re-used. On many cases the moldy
bag is due to the corn inside that has not been given time between uses for the bags to dry
properly. (NOTE: It is a good idea to have extra sets of bags). Cut a small hole on the bag, large
enough to drain the contents. Allow the bags to dry completely. When dry fill with a new
material-it can be dry corn, rice, dried beans or plastic pellets. You will then stitch up the hole
you created.
           Q. Many cornhole games have professional sports logos? Is this a legal use
    of a licensed product?

A.
The short answer is usually no, it is not legal. Unless the cornhole manufacturer has  complied
with the licensing fees from the respective pro sport league. For example, the National Football
League (NFL) has a screening process and a yearly licensing fee. A license is difficult to get for
the brand is carefully monitored by its vendors. Even if a license is granted the cost to obtain a
license is an exorbitant $100,000 per year. If a cornhole board manufacturer is a bona fide
licensee then more than likely somewhere on the website will be a notification of an "Officially
Licensed Dealer of the National Football League."
           Q. My favorite sports team is the Steelers, can you make me a board with the
    Steelers logo and colors?

A.
Trademarks are protected and carefully guarded by a bevy of legal professionals who take
this business seriously. PEABAGS Outdoor Family Games is also a Trademark Brand. Just as we
don't want our brand used without our permission neither do the professional sports teams, or
any brand logo for that matter. What we can do is make you an original game in the colors of
your favorite team- say black and gold for the Steelers. This is perfectly legal. Then, we can
direct you to any number of our independent affiliates who sell officially licensed products
including  vinyl decals.  These products cannot legally be purchased by us, installed on your
game and then subsequently sold the you, the consumer. But there is absolutely nothing illegal
for you to have a cornhole game for your personal use with your favorite sports team.
           Q. I bought a basic Peabags brand cornhole game without a logo. Now that I
have played the sport and like it very much I have personalized my board with
the Cleveland Browns. Do you know where I can get Browns cornhole bags?

A.
No problem. We have researched the legal use of fabric that contains professional sports
logos and are cleared to make custom bags with your choice of logo. In doing so each order
comes with the following disclaimer:
This is not a licensed National Football League (NFL) product.
It is however, hand-crafted from licensed NFL fabric.
PEABAGS Outdoor Family Games is in no way affiliated with or sponsored by the National Football League.
           Q. What is the care and storage maintenance of the bags?

A.
It is most important to allow the bags to dry if needed. Always hang the bags in a ventilated
area away from outdoor (and indoor) critters. Once the bags are sufficiently dried they should be
stored in the convenient elastic strap on the bottom of your PEABAGS cornhole game board.

  • Do not leave bags outside overnight, especially in the event of rain. Care should be taken
    to avoid morning dew.
  • PEABAGS Outdoor Family Cornhole Game was designed with rounded edges to prevent
the common bag explosions that occur on many 'sharp-edged' cornhole game boards.
Even so, a bag used many times a bag can split open, especially if it is worn out. Anytime
the cloth feels thin and worn it is time to replace them with new bags.
  • Do not Dry  Clean.
  • If caked in mud, grass clippings, dirt. Allow to dry completely then brush away any excess
dirt. Any type of cleaner/water can cause the dye to bleed out.
NOTE! WET BAGS CAN LOSE COLOR  DYE AND CAUSE STAINS. CARE SHOULD
BE TAKEN TO AVOID STORING WET BAGS ON CAR SEATS, FURNITURE,
CONCRETE, DECKS and any other surface that may be subject to staining.
